In 1989 while stationed in Germany I was installing a telecommunications project at Ramstein Air Base and was fortunate enough to locate a 1984 Hurst/Olds for sale by another USAF service member. At the time this was the first time I had seen a Hurst/Olds since viewing one in a GM showroom in the states in 1984. I ended up purchasing the car and within the next 6 months 3 others showed up in Germany, so much for owning a rare car, especially overseas. Two were also at Ramstein AB, one hard top and the other was a T-Top and also one at Hahn AB which was also a hard top. I still have the car and eventually will be restoring it. Now that I'm back to work I'm hoping to start in the near future. I'll be posting some of the specifications on the car and also list the gallery of Hurst/Olds from it's inception to the present. So stay tuned and come back often to check for updates.
